The women of First Baptist Church have many opportunities to participate in a variety of activities including craft ministry, luncheons, Bible studies, conferences, and prayer groups.  The Women's Missionary Group (WMU) has a regular schedule of events as listed below.

• Potter's Hands: 1st Tuesday of month at 5:30pm in the FLC Dining Hall (Contact Nancy Gibson or Jo Velvin for info)
• Praying Women: 3rd Tuesday of month at 10 a.m. in Prayer House (Contact Jackie Legg for info)
• Women in the Word:  3rd Thursday of month at 10 a.m. in various homes (Contact Suzanne Kinard for info)
• Shades of Read (formerly Round Table): 4th Tuesday of Sept, Nov, Jan, Mar, May at 10am in Multi Purpose Room A-101(Contact Bettye Scarborough for info)
• First Ladies Mama Bear Apologetics book study taught by Cathy Johnson (Contact church office to reserve your spot)
