Music Ministry
Our Music Ministry exists to provide Musical and Spiritual training and support for believers, thus enabling them to use their gifts and talents in service to Christ through ministry to others.
The Worship Choir leads the congregation in corporate worship on Sunday mornings. There are no auditions required to be a member of the Worship Choir. Rehearsal is on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Worship Center and on Sunday mornings at 8:30. Members of the Praise Team are chosen from the Worship Choir.
The FBC Praise Band consists of a drummer, guitarists, and a bassist. The praise band plays every Sunday morning along with the piano, keyboard, and orchestra. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am. Membership in the praise band is by audition.
The Orchestra is made up of available instrumentalists and plays every Sunday morning with the FBC Praise Band and Worship Choir. We have a variety of instruments including flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones, French horns, saxophones, and a cello. All instruments are welcome. If you are at least sixteen years old and have experience reading music and playing your instrument successfully, we would be happy for you to audition for our orchestra. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm and on Sunday mornings at 8:30.
The Audio-Visual Team is vital in sharing the proclamation of God’s Word through preaching and music in our worship services, as well as with those who are homebound or unable to attend on Sunday mornings for other reasons. Our worship services are available on Facebook, YouTube and on cd. The AV Team is also responsible for all audio-visual during the services.
